Aurawaves recently had the great pleasure of being invited to support an up and coming Bridlington Charity in their Christmas appeal.
Our Bridlington Web Design business donated a number of web design related prizes to the Open Arms charity who are based in Bridlington and work in the Bridlington and Scarborough areas.
The charity, estalished recently by local professional golfer, Dan Crayford, aims to help people in North and East Yorkshire with a variety of problems ranging from homelessness to substance abuse.
Using a variety of solutions including counselling, fund raising, help in the community and a general shoulder to lean on, the charity is committed to helping those in need in the local area.
Open Arms' recent charity events included a raffle (contributed to by local business' including Aurawaves Web Design in Bridlington) to raise funds for a festive meal for the homeless in the Bridlington area.
Recently interviewed for a local paper, Dan said "We hope to bring people a bit of Christmas cheer. I think we all know someone, somewhere who has needed a little bit of help”.
We wish Dan and his team at Open Arms all the best with their work and look forward to continuing to support them and the local community in whatever way we can.
