Having your own shiny website is great but without love and attention it isn't going to generate you any new business and isn't going to offer you a return on the money you paid for it. Here's a few tips to make it earn it's keep.

1. Regularly add new content to your site. It's interesting for your visitors, builds credibility and encourages other websites to link back to you as an authority figure.

2. Promote your website in the real world. Make sure you website's address is on your business cards, shop front and any other offline marketing you do. People can't visit your website if they don't know it exists!
